Teams Tournament - April 16, 2011

The heat was on at the final Allstar Teams Tournament of the season. 78 boats came to the lake and everyone weighed in bass. David Stachowski and Greg Valenzuela had the biggest bass of 5.78#s and the heaviest bag of 16.74#s, which earned them $5,450 in cash. Mike and Jon Elliot came in second with 15.99#s, earning $2,650, and Buddy Randall & Allison Randall took third place with 15.57#s, earning $2,470.

We also want to congratulate Anglers of the Year, Ri Nay and Patrick Spencer. They made the big move from 6th place to 1st place with their 10th place showing today. They will receive free entries for next year’s season and other awards at the championship tournament in September.

40 teams will compete in this year’s NO ENTRY FEE championship tournament. The TWO DAY, SPLIT LAKE CONTEST will be held on September 16th at Apache—Burnt Corral and day two is September 17th at Roosevelt—Cholla launch ramp. Download the full list of Team Championship Qualifiers here. (PDF )
