Allstar Team Tournaments are for those anglers who are the most competitive. We run this circuit with the utmost attention to teams who want to compete for top pay back and a year-end championship. The Anglers of the Year are awarded prizes at year end, including paid basic entries for the next season. In conjunction with Skeeter Boats we host a no entry fee championship tournament for the top qualifiers. (See rules for more detail).
Our season runs from October through May of each year, with 7 tournaments in the Phoenix AZ area. We draw between 60 and 85 teams per tournament. At this time, Allstar Bass Teams is the largest team tournament trail in the Southwest.
Big news for Allstar anglers, Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram has come onboard with Allstar Team Tournaments to give away a $500 cash prize in a random draw at each team tournament. Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram has been a longtime supporter of bass fishing in the Phoenix area and we are really excited to be working with them.
Our basic entry fee is only $165, one of the lowest for team tournament trails. From that entry fee, we hold back monies for a two day, no entry fee championship tournament, held in September of each year. Qualifiers compete to win a guaranteed 1st place prize of $10,000, plus additional place money is paid back 1 in 5.
New for the 2013/2014 season is that for those Allstar Team Tournament circuits that average at least 50 boats, the top ten (10) teams will automatically qualify for the Allstar Bass Fishing Tournament Team Championship; provided the team has fished at least four (4) events together and no more than two (2) events alone. Additional qualifiers will be determined when the total tournament participation is averaged after the final tournament of the season. Teams in the top thirty five percent (35%) of that average, that have not already qualified, will also automatically qualify for the Allstar Bass Fishing Tournament Championship, provided the team has fished at least four (4) events together and no more than two (2) events alone. An additional fifteen (15%) of average total team participation will also qualify at the last tournament of the season.
- Big Bass – Pays top 3 big bass
- “T”s – Tournaments within the tournament. 11 teams compete against each other for 10 times the option fee, i.e. each full Maxi-T pays $1000. Teams can enter each option twice, and be placed in two separate groups.
- Senior T – Partners’ ages must total 90 years – i.e. one is 20 years old fishing with someone who is 70 years old, or any combination to total 90
- Heroes on the Water – 50/50 Option. Heaviest bag in the group wins 50% of the pot; with the other 50% going to the very worthy “Heroes on the Water”
