Couples & Kids - February 4, 2012

What a beautiful day to have a bass fishing tournament.  We thank the 26 teams that came out to support the Allstar Couples and Kids tournament.  Most found fishing to be great and weights are on the rise.  

First place congratulations go to Wes McCracken, fishing by himself since Jen was taking care of Girl Scout cookie business.  He landed a total of 18.06 lbs. including the big bass of the tournament, a nice 5.97 lbs. bass.  His total take home pay was $1,960.

Finishing in second place was Jason and Jo Schmidt, our 2011 anglers of the year.  This was their farewell tournament for now, as Jason’s job is taking him to California.  We will miss their company and competitive spirit and wish them all the best of luck.  They weighed in 14.05 lbs. and the 2nd big bass of the tournament at 5.15 lbs., earning $660.

Rounding out the top three was Jake Randall and Heidi D’Arcangelo, they weighed in 13.15 lbs., with the 3rd big bass of 4.41 lbs., winning $440.
